Safe Drinking Water in Schools
ACT leaders and parents at a Board of Education meeting advocating for safer drinking water in schools.
Because of ACT’s organizing, in 2019 Anne Arundel County Schools shortened their timeline to test for and remediate the presence of lead in school drinking water from three years to one year.
ACT turned out over 100 people to a Board of Education meeting in October 2018 to push for the change.
