Candidate Action for an Affordable Maryland

Sunday, October 18, 2:45–4:30 pm

First Baptist Church of Guilford, 7504 Oakland Mills Rd, Columbia, MD

Join hundreds of like-minded people as we shape Maryland's future!

We've heard loud and clear from 3,000 people across the state: Maryland is becoming more and more unaffordable, and our families are facing profound stress.

We're fighting for a Maryland where...

  • All of us can make a living, support a family, and afford a quality home

  • Immigrants are safe and can build a good life for their families

  • No one has to make sacrifices to pay for utility bills

  • We all can breathe clean air, including inside our homes

  • Historic African-American communities can build generational wealth

  • We all stand together against hate

We're asking state and local candidates to commit to work with us to make Maryland affordable, sustainable and safe for all of us.

Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman and Secretary of Housing Jake Day have confirmed their attendance. We're also inviting candidates for Governor, State Senator and Delegate, and County Executive and Council.
