In the spring of 2023, we listened to 1,268 people in ACT. A team of over 100 people was trained to lead deep listening conversations in their congregations and organizations. In these conversations people shared stories about the pressures facing themselves and their families. We strengthened our relationships which are the fabric of our communities that allow us to act together to tackle these problems.
At the end of the campaign the ACT Strategy Team hosted a retreat with leaders from across our organization to chart our path forward. We left with four new teams focused on Mental Health, Equity in Education, Preventing Gun Violence, and Attainable Housing led by wonderful co-chairs who stepped forward to lead.
