Metro IAF Wins on N95 Mask Price Gouging

Last week, Anne Arundel County government officials and Anne Arundel Medical Center joined ACT on an IAF-led nationwide effort to do a bulk purchase of N95 respirator masks. These masks are crucial to the health of our healthcare workers. We were joined on the call by officials from New York City and various states in an effort to buy millions of masks. Despite really good due diligence on the part of Metro IAF's Community Purchasing Alliance, we found ourselves being price gouged.
We are part of an organization that refuses to sit still. We took action directly at 3M to reign in the life-threatening practices of its distributors which will benefit everyone in the nation. Read more here.
